Tempest in a Teacup is the twentieth episode in the first season of Jessie. It first aired on June 8, 2012.
Overview
Emma and Zuri plan a romantic, mystery-filled fourth "first date" for Jessie and Tony (Jessie's second prom) but as usual, everything goes wrong. Meanwhile, Ravi's helicopter gets stuck in a teacup on a billboard sign. He goes and get it, gets stuck in the teacup; Luke comes, almost gets Ravi out but then his shoes slip and he gets stuck in the teacup; Bertram comes, gets stuck in teacup. So, Jessie and Tony's date gets interrupted and they come. Jessie and Tony get Ravi and Luke out of the cup but they fall in when trying to get Bertram out. Eventually, they are alone in the teacup where Tony finally kisses Jessie and they both dance to the music that Emma and Zuri are playing from Emma's phone.

- In this episode, you can figure out why Jessie's old boyfriend left her for the entire drill team, which makes a reference to One Day Wonders.
- This is the first Jessie episode to air at a new time of 8:30 pm.
- Tipton Tea is a parody of Lipton Tea and a reference to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. Ironically, Debby Ryan (Jessie) was on The Suite Life on Deck as Bailey Pickett.
