But to be seriously considered for Admin, wikia policies generally require 2 months (60 days) of consistent meaningful editing once per day.
At this time, you don’t meet that requirement, so I would recommend asking later when you have satisifed the condition.
Thank you for the report, this user has been blocked.
While I did not review all of the wikias you named, I did look at Austin&Ally and well, this user is not very creative, they made the exact same edit on Austin Moon's page as they did on Luke Ross' page.
If I may ask, did you file similar reports with the Admins of those wikias?
Not very creative indeed. It's the same edits across all the wikis.
I filed reports to some but not all the wikis. If you're interested, I would recommend contacting staff. After combing through several wikis, it became too many for me to personally report so I reported it to SOAP/VSTF, but they said it didn't qualify as vandalism and to contact staff instead.
I'm an admin at Victorious Wiki so I personally blocked the user there, and I know that admins at some of the other wikis have also blocked the user.
Yeah, as vandalism attempts go, it's not very offensive, I didn't pay it much mind at first because it didn't seem really significant enough to bother with, usually vandalism are much more crude or hostile then this one.
I checked the user activity on Bunk'd wikia, they have done the same vandalism there, but with more characters.
A couple of them were caught and reverted, but others were not, I fixed that.
I am now filing a report with the Bunk'd admin to have them blocked there.
One thing I hated is how they never mentioned Xander, Griff, Tiffany, or Jorge in Season 3. Xander was Emma's boyfriend. Griff was Zuri's boyfriend. Tiffany was Zuri's best friend. And I'm sure Jorge was Ravi's best friend besides Luke, Jessie, and Mrs. Kipling.
Maybe it's a payroll issue?
If someone is a main character, they get paid more per hour and get a larger share of the merchandising rights.
So by putting Gwen down to a recurring character, she costs them less in terms of wages and presumably, doesn't have to appear in every episode, so her paid onscreen time decreases as well.
But I don't see why they couldn't have more main characters, Bunk'd season 4 felt like there were not enough in my opinion.
I'm surprised Bunk'd made it to season 5, to be honest.
Most Disney shows end at 3 if they are lucky, 2 if unlucky.
4 is usually a bonus season and involves a change of some kind, like removing Xander, Hazel and Gladys for example. That disappointed me, I was hoping for a lot of comedy about Hazel being a CIT and having to take orders from Emma.
The only other Disney show I can recall going to 5 seasons is Lab Rats, with the spinoff Elite Force technically being the 5th.
And that 5th season was so awful, Disney didn't even bother finishing production on it and cut the show halfway through the story arc.
I hope Bunk'd doesn't repeat those mistakes with their season 5.
I usually make a point of checking the wikia every day, just to see if a new vandal shows up.
What the vandal does depends on the kind of action that results, if they mess up a page one time, I just protect it for a month and see what else they may do.
However, if they consistently mess up a page, then I block their account, since they aren't here for any helpful/constructive reason and I'm not interested in reverting every malicious edit they make.
Generally though, I usually don't discuss minor issues, but if a big one comes up that all moderators need to be aware of, that one I will notify them about.
Example, there's a major dispute that happened across the wikia network about a week ago and it related to Bunk'd, if I see that conflict migrate here, then that we will have to discuss!
I normally recommend that if someone is interested in becoming part of the Wikia staff, that they begin by making daily edits for 2 months, then apply to be a Content Moderator.
If all goes well, then the decision to promote to Admin can be reviewed.
On Luke's page, his birthday was written as November 2, 1999, and his "biological father" is written as Roy Olson when I only remember his biological mother being mentioned. Was this ever confirmed by the show? I don't think it was, but I could be wrong if it is I don't remember one hundred percent. It could have been speculation written by a fan. If so, I request the birthday to be deleted and probably replaced with "c. 1999" and the dad's name to be deleted.
Yes, so many fandoms I've seen, especially Disney Channel ones, have many common vandalisms like false middle names or false birthdays that fans invent, or statements like "[Character] is so hot and sexy." It drives me crazy. I'm an admin on The Good Luck Charlie wiki, and there is a troublesome common vandalism on the page for Teddy Duncan. There was a rumor spread that her full name was "Theodora Rebecca Duncan" even though this was never ever confirmed. People still go onto the page and change it, up to the point where I had to protect the page indefinitely! I will let you know if there are errors on the locked pages, I'll just fixed the ones on pages that are unlocked. Thank you!
Ah yes, I forgot about the false middle names, seen that kind of vandalism most of all.
I recently got in a edit war with someone who kept insisting their fake middle name was true.
I would have speculated that Teddy's name could have been Theresa, but would have never claimed that as an official fact and definitely would have never made an edit stating that to be true/factual/canon without any supporting evidence.
Babe Carano from Game Shakers is the one I was most curious about, I asked if her full name was Babette, but apparently it is not, she's just Babe.
It's actually very common, other websites that are not Disney owned/operated have said the exact same thing.
I think it's something to do with copyright protection laws, if someone from outside the United States country is trying to watch the show, they interpret as meaning the show isn't available to watch in the country of origin.
Of course, when examined properly, that doesn't really hold true, since I can watch these shows anytime I want on Disney Channel Australia, I just have to wait for them to be broadcast.
So I'm really uncertain why they don't let me watch them or why DisneyNow Australia doesn't host the episodes.
At least two other fandom/wikis have referred to her as Jessica, so for now, I'm assuming this is her full name.
Which episode it was that revealed this information, I am uncertain, but G.I. Jessie would be a good place to start, since it's the only episode that features her father and it's a consistent gag for sitcom parents to yell their child's full name when irked with that child.
