Trivia[]
- This episode aired in Canada on February 17, 2015.
- This episode is part of Disney Channel's "TUNE IN 4 WHAT?!" weekend.
- The episode title refers to Zuri's karate training and Emma causing a catastrophe with her sudden rebellious behavior.
- This episode reunited Phill Lewis and Debby Ryan, who worked on the Disney Channel Show "The Suite Life on Deck".
- It's revealed that after the events of "The Suite Life On Deck", Mr. Moseby became the manager of the Tipton Hotel in New York. This is ironic considering in the series finale of The Suite Life on Deck, the S.S. Tipton docks in New York City as its last stop. Mr. Moseby could have possibly got a job right then and there at the New York Tipton Hotel.
- Cody and Bailey are mentioned in this episode.
- Additionally, Zack, Maddie and London are also indirectly mentioned by Mr. Moseby.
- It is revealed that Mr. Moseby still keeps in contact with the twins.
- Three of the "Suite Life" series actors have crossovers to Jessie. Matthew Timmons plays Max Bauer, who is Jessie's agent, and also played Woody Fink. Brian Stepanek, who played Arwin Hochauser, acted as Mr. Collinsworth. Phill Lewis, who directed a few episodes of Jessie, returned as Mr. Moseby.
- Moseby states that Jessie looks exactly like Bailey Pickett from The Suite Life On Deck, a nod to the fact that they are both portrayed by Debby Ryan.
- This episode is counted as a crossover appearance rather than a full on crossover with The Suite Life, as Mr. Moseby is the only Suite Life character to make an appearance.
- This would make Jessie's fifth crossover with another series/franchise on Disney Channel/Disney XD after Austin & Jessie & Ally: All Star New Year (with Austin & Ally), Good Luck Jessie: NYC Christmas (with Good Luck Charlie), Halloween Night at the Museum (with Ultimate Spider-Man), and Jessie's Aloha-holidays with Parker and Joey (with Liv and Maddie).
- However, this is also counted as the second crossover appearance with another character(s) from another Disney Channel Original Series/franchise after Jessie's Aloha-holidays with Parker and Joey.
- This episode marks the final appearance of Mr. Moseby.
- It is revealed that Emma's middle name is "Evangeline".
- This is the second time Emma turns 'good girl gone bad', the first time being in the episode "Badfellas" when she was wrongfully influenced by Vincent Liotta.
- Luke has a second Jessie Movie "Jessie at the Beach" in which he made her run slowly.
- This is Peyton List’s favorite episode.
- This episode confirms that Jessie does exist in the same universe as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, The Suite Life on Deck, I'm in the Band, That's So Raven, Raven's Home, Hannah Montana, Cory in the House, Wizards of Waverly Place, Shake It Up, Best Friends Whenever and I Didn't Do It . Additionally, due to Girl Meets World and Boy Meets World, all of these shows also exist in the same universe as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Teen Angel, You Wish, , Full House, Fuller House, Step By Step, Family Matters and Perfect Strangers.
- The title of this episode is a play on the name of The Karate Kid movie franchise in which Peyton List would later go onto star in the sequel TV series Cobra Kai as "Tory Nichols" who happens to be a bad girl but unlike Emma, Tory is troubled in the series.
Goofs[]
- Ravi claimed he had dyed his hair from chestnut brown to acorn brown, but his hair is black, not any shade of brown.
- However, it might've been hard to tell since Ravi didn't bleach his hair to dye it.
